From Maud's series of original acrylic paintings "Life I" where she represents what one can feel going through life in a vibrant and colorful way.

Willingly plunging into the dark the swimmer embraces this moment while at the same time faces some resistance. I chose this earthy and rich blood red colour that represents for me the uncontrollable and the unknown, somehow a little bit reminding me of fear but mostly of life. As feeling down can be overwhelming, it is though a natural state of mind that one should not try to overcontrol, but rather sometimes dive into it.

● Original artwork signed on the back by the artist. A Certificate of Authenticity will be shipped together with the artwork.
● Frame is not included - the artwork will be carefully wrapped and rolled into a postal tube for transport.
